Bất luận là người lớn hay trẻ em, nếu uống quá nhiều nước cũng không tốt chút nào. Thông thường, lượng nước cung cấp cho trẻ nên căn cứ vào thể trọng của trẻ. Trẻ được 4kg thì mỗi ngày lượng nước cho trẻ khoảng 800ml và lượng nước này bao gồm cả nước có trong sữa mẹ hoặc nước trong sữa bột khi pha cho trẻ.

Trong thực đơn ăn uống của chúng ta đã cung cấp đầy đủ lượng muối cho cơ thể, không cần đặc biệt bổ sung thêm. Bổ sung nước khi ở trong phòng máy lạnh
Trong phòng máy lạnh rất khô. Tuy không bị đổ mồ hôi nhưng sẽ bị thiếu nước nghiêm trọng, đặc biệt nghiêm trọng hơn đới với trẻ.
So với người trưởng thành, bề mặt da của trẻ có diện tích lớn hơn, nước trong cơ thể dễ bốc hơi qua da, lượng nước này còn nhiều hơn so với khi bị đổ mồ hôi.
Thường thường qua một đêm ở phòng lạnh thì trẻ sẽ tiêu hao khoảng 100ml nước, môi bị khô và lúc đó cần bổ sung nước kịp thời, tốt nhất nên đảm bảo nhiệt độ trong phòng lạnh ở một nhiệt độ bảo hòa.
Uống trà giải nhiệt
Đôi khi trẻ có thể uống trà như uống nước và có thêm vào một số thành phần thuốc Đông y không có chứa các nguyên tố có hại. Từ đó giúp trẻ thông tiện, giải nhiệt… và không ảnh hưởng gì nhiều đến dạ dày.
Làm gì khi trẻ bị táo bón, đặc biệt là trẻ nhỏ
Khi pha sữa phải pha đúng lượng nước mà nhà sản xuất đã hướng dẫn, không tự ý pha sữa đặc hơn hay là loãng đi. Người mẹ nên truyền đạt và chỉ dẫn kỹ lưỡng cho người chăm sóc trẻ.
Đối với trẻ còn đang bú mẹ thì người mẹ phải theo dõi phân của bé và số lần đi tiêu để thay đổi chế độ ăn uống của mình, ăn nhiều rau quả có tính nhuận tràng và quan trọng người mẹ cho con bú cũng phải được cung cấp đầy đủ rau xanh, trái cây, uống nhiều nước và có chế độ dinh dưỡng tốt.
Không nên uống các loại thức uống khác, chúng có tác hại không nhỏ đối với sức khỏe của trẻ.
